Now here's Michelle Gielan with today's health watch report.America may be losing the battle of the bulge.A new report says obesity rates are up in nearly half the states and they haven't DECLINED in one single state. For the fifth straight year, Mississippi leads the way -- with more than 32 percent of obese adults.Colorado is the leanest state -- only 19 percent are obese. Two of the most popular "stop-smoking" drugs will now have to carry the F-D-A's strongest safety warning label.Sales of the drugs Chantix and Zyban have totaled nearly a billion dollars so far.But the F-D-A says some people using the drugs have experienced depression and more than 100 have committed suicide.A pregnant mom's diet may have long lasting effects on her baby's health.A new study found women who maintain a healthy, well balanced diet during pregnancy have children with bigger and stronger bones. The findings add to evidence that environmental influences during pregnancy affect a baby well after birth. Those are some of today's top medical stories.I'm Michelle Gielan - CBS News - New York.
