Other than Thursday morning its been sunny, hot, and muggy this week. But for those true anglers, who beat the heat, hit the peak times and shady spots, big fish have been biting around the area. For one local man it was the perfect time to land a fish, tournament time, earning him the KEYC Saturday Stringer award for this week.Edward Gary Wick of Le Center was competing last Saturday in the Madison Lake Sheephead Fishing Contest when he landed this lunker. The event was part of the town's Paddlefish days and the Northern Pike measured out to 32 inches.Congratulations to Mr. Wick on a terrific catch. It's another great weekend for fishing and I've already received some outstanding pictures but there is still time to get your prized catch on our show.Send me your photos and as much information as possible to Fish@keyc.com and maybe you too will earn our Saturday Stringer award this summer.
