As the summer goes on the catches seem to be gaining in size and weight. This week's KEYC Saturday stringer is a whopper.John Kapp of Mankato was out fishing June 18th on Madison Lake's Brookmaster Bridge.Kapp says he was using 14 pound test line and nightcrawlers when he landed his prize.A 30 inch monster of a Walleye took the bait and Kapp reeled it in.He says it weighs over 12 pounds and as you can see he's not kidding.Congrats to John Kapp on his catch. The Saturday stringer segment will go on for a few more weeks and I have received many great fishing photos but there is still time.If you want to see your catch on KEYC send me your photo's at Fish@keyc.com and maybe your tale will be told on a Saturday soon.
